If anyone is paying attention, the ‘sudden and unexpected’ continues to this day
Uh, my wife is an RN and she says this whole made up scenario is total BS.
Does your wife believe ANYTHING Fauci has ever said?
Education <> discernment.
What did she disagree with:
There is no singular tetanus “vaccine”?
3 weeks for antibodies?
Lock jaw and death immediately?
What did the author get wrong?
I’m not a medical person but it all sounds reasonable to me.
Please have her provide the specific “BS”.
I’m very curious on multiple levels. It all hinges on whether the facts in the anecdote are true.
Wait a minute… are you actually saying that something on the internet is not true? Shocking!! 🙀🙀
Truthfully, it takes weeks for tetanus to work its way to any extent. My understanding is that the vaccine for that gives enough time and coverage.
Now, the others are not needed.
A few years ago I went to urgent care for something or another. They asked about my Tetanus shot status. (No idea)
I declined then I went home and did some research. Before the Tetanus shot in the 1950’s, about 300 people a year got Tetanus. Currently it’s about 100.
While it is fewer, both are statistically insignificant numbers. I’ll pass.
The multi-pronged JAB DTAP is a cost saver.
“cost saver”
For who?
Anytime big pharm says anything about money my nose twitches.
And they are not lying about unsafe inoculations or side effects.
Lying or spreading misinformation about vaccines in the U.S. has a long history, ranging from fabricated scientific data to deceptive marketing and the use of fraudulent documents.Significant Instances of Deception and Misinformation.
The Andrew Wakefield “Autism Link” Fraud (1998):The Lie: A paper published in The Lancet claimed a link between the MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine and autism. The Reality: An investigation by the British General Medical Council and journalist Brian Deer revealed Wakefield had falsified data, committed research misconduct, and had a secret financial conflict of interest—he was being paid by lawyers seeking to sue vaccine manufacturers.
The paper was fully retracted in 2010, and Wakefield’s medical license was revoked.
“DPT: Vaccine Roulette” (1982):The Lie: An NBC affiliate aired a documentary claiming the DPT (Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus) vaccine caused permanent brain damage in children. The Reality: The documentary took research out of context and highlighted anecdotal stories without scientific evidence. Subsequent studies found no long-term brain damage link, but the resulting public fear led to a drop in vaccination rates and several manufacturers exiting the vaccine market.
COVID-19 Disinformation
Campaigns:”The Disinformation Dozen”:
Research by the Center for Countering Digital Hate identified that 65% of anti-vaccine content on social media platforms in early 2021 was produced by just 12 individuals, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr..Misleading Success Claims: Some official messaging initially suggested vaccines would provide 100% protection against infection, which later proved untrue as the virus mutated, leading to public accusations that health authorities had “lied” about vaccine durability.
The “Microchip” Conspiracy: A persistent false claim suggested COVID-19 vaccines contained trackable microchips, a theory that gained traction through misinterpretations of research into “quantum dot” tattoos for record-keeping in developing nations.Legal Deception and Fraud:Fake Vaccination Cards: During COVID-19 mandates, numerous individuals were prosecuted for selling or using forged CDC vaccination cards. Notable cases include a New York individual using the handle “AntiVaxMomma” to sell fake cards and a Utah doctor accused of replacing real vaccines with saline shots for children.
Paxton v. Pfizer (2023): The Texas Attorney General filed a lawsuit against Pfizer, alleging the company misrepresented the efficacy of its COVID-19 vaccine and suppressed public critics to maintain market dominance.Historical and Emerging Tropes.
The “Cow Characteristics” Myth (Early 1800s): During the introduction of the smallpox vaccine, which used cowpox, critics spread rumors that the vaccine would cause people to develop cow-like physical traits.DNA Alteration
Myth: A modern recurring lie is that mRNA vaccines permanently alter human DNA. Scientists at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other organizations have debunked this, explaining that mRNA does not enter the cell nucleus where DNA is stored.
When big pharm talks, hold on to your wallet, watch your back and get third and even forth party verification....
She thinks Fauci was a liar. Only got the jab because we were going on a cruise.
There is a singular tetanus vaccine.
Lockjaw and death immediately is BS.
Pediatric RN her entire career, now retired.
Don’t really care whether you like the response or not.
Stunner right!
People absolutely have the right to make their own medical decisions - but why are they going to see a doctor if they don’t want his/her advice?
How do you think you car mechanic or home builder would behave if you second guessed (or opposed) every decision they made, or recommended? Doctors are no different.
My daughter (RN) agrees with your wife, and she’s a minimalist when it comes to shots for my granddaughter:
