I’m pretty sure we all know the reason but I want an official statement.
If I understand England to any degree, the next step of those now disheartened by King Charles rejection of the Easter message will be to ask Prince William, what will HE do when his time comes to rule as King.
That will be one of their last hopes, that after King Charles succumbs to his cancer, Christianity will once again have official recognition an elevation through his eldest son.
Fine. I wouldn’t want to listen. Nor am I looking forward to hearing him if he visits US later this month.
Every king including Charles takes a Coronation Oath to uphold Christianity and the Established Church and the Protestant religion

Sometime about seven years ago, or so, and he is worshipped and praised, and criticism of him is forbidden. And he is a defender of Christianity, all evidence to the contrary is ignored. What happened? Why did Free Republic do a 180 on him?
[In point of fairness: Charles did not just protect Muslim rape gangs, he protected Jimmy Saville too, who is not Muslim. I suppose his brother must be mad, because Mr. Hanover threw his brother to the wolves, but did everything to protect the far worse Jimmy Saville.)
