I have donated 100 dollars each month this quarter. I deeply wish we had 1000 FReepers who could just donate 80 dollars at the first of each quarter. Afer Limbaugh passed away, that was pretty much the end for me for talk radio. I watch only a little cable and that is FOX. If Free Republic goes away, that will be the end of my online participation in forums. I won’t go anywhere else.
I do $20/month.
Seems like everyone who comes here ought to contribute...where else can you get this variety of info from interesting and frequently hilarious contributors?
JUST MENTION the need to cut overhead costs: FR needs to shut down for three hours each afternoon.
Revenue would flow to stop that.
I've asked around to see that folks recommended if FR goes dark, but there doesn't seem to be a consensus about any other sites like this one. So I hope and pray we make the goal.
I just sent a donation. I hope it helps!
I’m in!
Just mailed a check for $20 in addition to my monthly donation of $20.
Thank you faithful friend.
Done!!
