The ongoing injuries ruined the career of who I believe was the best golfer to ever play the game. For a 10-year or so period yes. But no one had the longevity or consistency of Jack Nicklaus. No one.

Arnold was the first prototype of the modern golfer Arnie was a shooting star - seven majors in less than ten years but he came along at just the right time with the onset of televised golf and was perfect for it. On top of that he was a genuine gentleman and a genuine charmer and a very astute businessman. Which translated to one of the most successful sports / business careers in history.
When Nicklaus beat him at the US Open at Oakmont - in Arnie's back yard - in 1962, the guard officially changed.

I prefer to support Tiger Woods until ALL THE FACTS COME OUT.....On the course Woods was unequalled. Off the Course he's an a**hole. How much of that is attributable to Earl Woods and his shenanigans I don't know...

At 25 mph? Get real. These cars have stability control system that prevent rollovers at even higher speeds. So tell me, what was Tiger's speed at the time of the accident?

“So tell me, what was Tiger’s speed at the time of the accident?”
According to the sheriff the length of the slide indicated a high rate of speed.
He said it was lucky there was no oncoming traffic as it could have been very bad.

Tiger has been a drug addict for a while. It's one of the worst-kept secrets in golf.

“The man needed a serious wake up call.”
Cops woke him up a few years back asleep in a damaged running car.
Tested positive for five drugs including THC. Two were PGA banned substances.

Re: "Nope. Jack and Arnie."
I disagree.
The level of competition and prize money was much higher when Woods turned pro, at age 20.
In his first year, Woods won three tournaments, plus The Masters (by a record 12 strokes), and was ranked #1 in the world.
Jack Nicklaus was a close second best, and Nicklaus maintained a high level of performance for many more years than Woods did.
Arnold Palmer had some great years and might make the Top Five.
Tiger Woods - playing his best game - would have beat Jack Nicklaus - playing his best game.
