Urgent Notification for all on duty Patrol Officers;
“Always. always lock your Patrol Car at the end of your shift. No Exceptions!!”
The car must have been moved at some point after he entered it. Whoever moved it didn’t check the back seat.
And I would add: Always, always remove your keys from the ignition when stepping away from your vehicle. I’ve seen too many videos of police vehicles and ambulances being stolen by perps.
