The emotional attachment to a pet can be as great or greater than to a human. With that said, age, health issues and costs are not an issue in one’s caring for the pet.
So what? I have had dogs that cost me 700 a month in medications.
I stayed with them till no amount of money could keep them comfortable because they stayed with me though everything too
I will say the current dog is not the same breed because after 3 with issues my wallet just could not take it again
