DRAMA: Rep. Nancy Mace "walks out" of Congressional briefing on war with Iran
X ^ | March 25 | Rep. Mace

Posted on 03/25/2026 12:18:25 PM PDT by RandFan

@RepNancyMace

Just walked out of a House Armed Services briefing on Iran. Let me repeat: I will not support troops on the ground in Iran, even more so after this briefing.

@RepNancyMace

The justifications presented to the American public for the war in Iran were not the same military objectives we were briefed on today in the House Armed Services Committee. This gap is deeply troubling. The longer this war continues, the faster it will lose the support of Congress and the American people.

@RepNancyMace

Washington’s war machine is hard at work. They are try to drag us into Iran to make it another Iraq. We can’t let them.

As U.S. stockpiles dwindle, Israel reconnoiters

An Israeli govt meeting on Iran commences, likely to
lay out re-priotizying the bombing of Israeli targets.

Israel was assured by Mossad intel...... “hoped” by now the move by
the Iran resistance towards a regime change would be underway.

Israel’s bummed it is not included in the developing negotiations,
so there is much “speculation” on Israel’s path forward.

Translated into English means Israel takes the tax dollars, the US munitions,
then does whatever it pleases.....to hell with the US and the rest.

This war isn’t about Israel-it’s about America, by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.

Boteach is an American Orthodox rabbi, author, media personality, and television host known for blending traditional Jewish teachings with popular culture, known for his past friendship with known pedophile, Michael Jackson, with whom he co-founded the “Heal the Kids” foundation. (Wikipedia)

Boteach wrote “Kosher Jesus,” which argues that Jesus was a man of great wisdom and a patriotic Jew, but not the Messiah or biblically divine. (Wikipedia)

Israeli propagandist, “The Jerusalem Post,” recognizes him as one of the
most influential rabbis in the U.S. and the world, respectively. (Apple TV)

In the 1990s, Boteach was a close confidant to pedophile Michael Jackson, later
publishing The Michael Jackson Tapes after the singer’s death. (Wikipedia)

Boteach is, above all, stridently pro-Israel, an
Israeli defender on all issues regarding Israel.

Mace was not the only one unhappy with the briefing:

"House Armed Services Committee chair Rep. Mike Rogers said members warned defense officials that troop movements in the region should be “thoughtful and deliberate.” They also made it clear the administration isn’t offering details on American efforts in the U.S. campaign, dubbed Operation Epic Fury.

“We want to know more about what’s going on, what the options are, and why they’re being considered,” the Alabama lawmaker said. “And we’re just not getting enough answers on those questions.”

It’s a notable rebuke from a senior GOP defense hawk who has backed President Donald Trump’s decision to attack Iran — and a warning that the administration could lose support for the nearly month-old war if it can’t adequately make the case to Congress.

“That’s what I conveyed to them at the end of this hearing, is this has consequences if you don’t remedy it,” Rogers told reporters

“I will not support troops on the ground in Iran...”

So you’re supporting the pieces of the regime that will stay in Iran and when they build their ballistic missile they were trying to build, using funds handed back to them by Obama and Biden, they can drop it on personnel and kill American citizens? Maybe you should serve a tour downrange to get a better grasp on the problem. It’ll get you closer to the realization of death.

Yes she is. Part of El Reño’s La Cid. (I miss Rush!)

Emotionalism is being used to attack the push to take out the Iranian Islamic leaders that dates to 1979.

Yes but what’s he going to do about it.

The House has the power to cut off funds as I understand it or vote against a War Powers Resolution should one come up.

If Rogers is saying stuff like this in public it seems pretty clear that if this doesn’t end soon in a really favorable way that Congress will hang that albatross around the presidents next and be done

Imo, a definite positive YES on taking control of the oil export port 20 miles in the sea - not on the Iranian mainland- (and I would add three little tiny islands or outcroppings north of the straight of Hormuz for better safer open sealanes there).

- I don’t foresee any ground war in Iran like happened in either Iraq or Afghanistan. Certainly the announced deployments as of 25 March don’t support any such concerns.

I think she’s just grandstanding in the modern- day far leftist style fear mongering campaign.

She has come out and told you that the Trump administration is flat-out lying to you — or to Congress.

No, she exposed herself as a liar.

I don't see either one of those scenarios happening. For one thing the Democrats are thrilled to see Trump embroiled in an unpopular war. But it is very interesting that Mike Rogers spoke out in the way he did. He was clearly unhappy

Mace also followed up on the tweet you posted in this thread with the following:

"The justifications presented to the American public for the war in Iran were not the same military objectives we were briefed on today in the House Armed Services Committee. This gap is deeply troubling. The longer this war continues, the faster it will lose the support of Congress and the American people."

“...the CIA hasn’t been right about one thing since it was organized in 1947.”

I worked as a researcher for the military, and DOD now DOW, and I can tell you trying to fit pieces of a puzzle together is not easy. There are so many variables, reactions by charlie, counter intelligence, baiting, and the inexperience or stupidity of people to name a few.

Could you please display a situation they didn’t get right. But I warn you, unless you were on the ground, and saw the incident in question, you won’t be able to count the lies, or spin coming from the different organizations involved with each sortie like the media, the politicians, and word of mouth. Each incident has very few people that actually know what happened. And that is the one constant since 1947...confusion.

“In every battle, there comes a time when both sides consider themselves beaten. Then he who continues the attack wins.” This quote from US General and President Ulysses S. Grant reflects the core principle of his strategy during the American Civil War.

Mike Rogers is unquestionably a hawk and I don’t think there’s ever been a military action he didn’t heartily endorse. His statement is more telling than anything Nancy Mace has to say
