So even now, you still hold up Tucker's nonsense as credible journalism?
And you wonder why most us don't take you seriously?
I guess Cruz is not happy about the interview he had where he made him look foolish over Iran (long before hostilities).
What, where Tucker thought it was relevant to ask him what the population of Iran was? Random trivia is what foreign policy should be based on? That wasn't Cruz that looked foolish in that exchange.
Trivia? Tucker masterfully illustrated some hard truths. It’s very important that you should know basic facts about a country you’re about to invade and its inhabitants you’re about to kill. Questions like: what is the physical size, population and ethnic makeup of said country compared to, say, the last country we got bogged down in a quagmire while delivering democracy to. Most Americans are unilingual and largely ignorant of the wider world around them. Most don’t know the population and 100+ ethnicities of Russia and are content to call them “commies” or “orcs.”Same story with Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq. Part of the reason we’re in this mess is because politicians are drunk with hubris and clueless about basic facts about their next victim.
