Iran threatened Friday to start targeting tourist sites worldwide — just as spring break kicked off across the United States.
Iranian military spokesman Gen. Abolfazl Shekarchi blasted out the chilling warning on state TV as he vowed that popular tourism havens would no longer be safe for Tehran’s enemies.
“From now on, based on the information we have about you, even parks, recreational areas, and tourist destinations anywhere in the world will no longer be safe for you,” the military official said.
He stopped short of naming specific vacation destinations that could be in Iran’s line of fire.
The threats, which came as spring breakers descended across the US, renewed fears that Tehran could potentially revert to using militant attacks beyond the Middle East as a pressure tactic.
The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have already indicated they are on high alert after the US-Israeli strikes on Iran kick-started the war three weeks ago.
Iran’s fresh warning came after US officials said three more warships and roughly 2,500 additional Marines were being deployed to the Middle East.

Very!
Agreed.
This is the age of unmasking. It sure isn’t pretty seeing all of America’s enemies in their true form.
Spring Break is almost over
They are talking more to the Iranian People to maintain the illusion of control. The US and Israel know exactly what they have and will do.
I tell you, every time a bomb or drone hits a civilian area, another major mosque should be leveled. I don’t care if it’s beautiful, and centuries old. Just do it when services aren’t in session.
^this^
The left will still defend them.
We’re at the Wheat and Tares point of history.
They want to party like it is 1972?
Heads up carpet dudes, elections have consequences, we have men in DC.
Update! Just posted by the POTUS on TS...
Donald J. Trump

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

We ain’t killin’ enough of these inbred a$$clowns.
Stop pussyfooting around with them. The only good IRGC member is a dead one. Cease-fire talks are merely opportunities for them to restock ammunition and arms, regroup forces, and plan new strategy.
There is nothing humanitarian about islam or the muzzies. Stop treating them like civilized enemies. They are not civilized.
Uplifting news but the Iranians’ word is as good as any other KGB dictatorship -not worth the paper it’s written on. Like an NVA ceasefire, Cuban withdrawal, North Korean or Taliban promise, etc.
Sad to see Trump falling into another of the US Diplomats’ BS traps. They’re more worthless and self-adoring than he suspects apparently. Anything to please (the other side).

Iran is bordered by Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and several of the spinoffs of the former USSR, with Russia in the background. They aren't going to run out of bullets as long as anybody wants to wage an asymmetrical proxy war against the U.S.
We can degrade Iran's high tech weaponry and control the airspace. But that still doesn't solve the problem facing unarmed civilians, who are being urged to charge machine guns with their bare hands.
If the Iranian regular army would revolt, the problem could be solved. But after decades of relentless political purging and indoctrination, betting on that is probably an exercise in wishful thinking.
The mullahs may be mad, but they aren't stupid. They can look at the history of the U.S. stretching back to at least Vietnam. The U.S. lacks the will to do what is necessary to win, and the democrats are now an anti-American fifth column that is far more interested in a color revolution at home than in any international commitment.
Our potential allies who might step up know the same thing. Trump wants the EU, Japan, or whomever to send ships to patrol the Gulf? None of them have the capacity to sustain any such thing unless the U.S. Navy backs them up. Would you bet the future on the U.S. steering a straight course for 72 hours, let alone into the next presidential administration? No, not when Trump himself so visibly lacks the will to do whatever is necessary.
The mullahs know that if they can ride out the storm, in six months or less the pressure will lift. They will survive and rebuild. Someone is still going to have to bayonet them out of their spider holes.
Why isn't there an Iranian government in exile already in operation? Because Trump was counting on standoff weapons and a twitterstorm to do the job. And that won't get it done.
Terrorists acting like terrorists.
“Qu’ils mangent de la brioche”
But they have nearly 50 years of an indoctrinated population. I worry about that more than the pop guns
Great observation. Probably why there is no grass roots revolution. When Genghis Kahn took out the Persian sultan, he did it by obliterating everything in the path of his army even though they had a far larger force. He tried bargaining with them twice or more beforehand but they knew better till they did not.
Trump has said defanging the Ayatollahs & IRGC is next best. If the Iranians do not revolt to get rid of Twelver regime. So bombs away! Get Hormuz open too. And out of the Ayatollahs control/
