Dear NATIONAL GUARD Veterans,
I would like to create a table of military service for those who served in the NATIONAL GUARD and would like to add your service.
I have already started the MARINE Table of Honor, the NAVY Table of Honor, the AIR FORCE Table of Honor, and the ARMY Table of Honor. I would like to create a master table of all military willing to share their service, so that all user names would appear in alphabetical order and be easier to reference regardless of branch of military service. But for now, I'm working on one branch at a time.
If you would like to be added to the NATIONAL GUARD table, have a look at the format and repy on this thread to have your name added. Once I get the names, I can post the completed table in a comment at the bottom of this thread, which you can link for later reference.
I'm happy to make corrections or add anyone I missed. I will ping this group when I combine y'all into one table. :D
name #1 NATIONAL GUARD 19XX - 19ZZ, text goes here, and here, and...etc. name #2 NATIONAL GUARD 19XX - 19ZZ, text goes here, and here, and...etc. name #3 NATIONAL GUARD 19XX - 19ZZ, text goes here, and here, and...etc.
Gen. Steven NordhausOur National Guardsmen are fully integrated as part of the Joint Force in Operation Epic Fury, delivering lethal capabilities to achieve our military objectives. Please accept my gratitude for your service. THANK YOU!
I thought we already did this.
No Coasties :-(
You must mean that you want to add to the table you created?

That was my reaction until I realized they're too busy standing a watch. XD
Seriously, Trump has upped the ante against people approaching our shores and I suspect our Coasties get no rest.
All I did during my time was sit around some light houses up and down the PCH between Morro Bay and Santa Cruz. Pretty boring but still fun. I bet now the coasties are pretty busy. It was DOT when I was in and then sent to the Navy when the Iraq war was started. But we still needed trackers “in the rear with the gear” to fetch the fisherman who got sick or lost and that’s about all I did.
