Trump is way deep into the belief that you can control a country by taking over its oil resources. He took over Venezuela this way. Cuba is on the ropes. Now he’s going after Iran’s main oil terminal.

He is correct on that assumption, IMHO. It is almost impossible for any country to survive for any length of time without oil, and their ability to wage war goes to zero almost overnight.

I don’t think we’ll see US troops on Kargh...at least until/unless regime change. The risk to them is too high.
