I say that even tho I had argued that the bill made no reference to tranny crap just a couple weeks ago. But then I heard DJT mention that it did last week at his rally.

Yes. Recently, three new items were attached to the formerly clean bill. That was wrong; it muddied the water.
Some talking head yesterday floated the idea that the GOP knew SAA would fail in its clean version, so just threw these three in to set the stage to rationalize the final fail.

100%. Even Democrats are saying they agree with that. Today on mornings with Maria, Senator Fetterman said that not a single republican had spoken to him about the SAVEAmerica act. If there is any senator who might be willing to work with Republicans, it is John Fetterman. It sounds like Republicans just wrote the act and then let Trump add two completely extraneous things, both of which I am in favor of, but have no place in this act.
Even banning ( with exception) mail-in voting should not be in it. The Supreme Court would probably knock it down anyway. R’s could try to do that later if they got the two basics passed.
