A clear left-right split among voters is showing the further decline of the establishment political parties.

The first-round of the French municipal elections have seen a strong showing for the National Rally (RN), which could in turn predict a strong performance in next year’s French presidential race.
Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s far-left La France Insoumise (LFI) also performed well. In contrast, the traditionalist parties of recent history—Socialists and Les Républicains—are undergoing a process of collapse.
In Marseille RN candidate Franck Allisio tied with the incumbent leftwing mayor, Benoît Payan, with both securing more than 35.4% of the projected vote, prompting a final-round runoff. Allisio claimed:
The wind of change is blowing over Marseille … This is more than a score, it’s a promise that tomorrow Marseille becomes the new French example.
While the RN addresses public concerns with crime and mass migration, the LFI has sought to capture the urban Muslim vote.
The local elections will now go to a final round runoff on March 22nd.

I hope the RN wins and it becomes a trend in Europe, but I tend to think Europe is lost. I hope I am wrong.
“Le Pen’s National Rally Surges in French Local Elections”
For the 50th time this century and beyond. LOL!
I don’t usually keep up with French politics, but I’ve been hearing of Jean-Marie Le Pen and one of his daughters; Marine Le Pen for years.
It seems that Marine is always running for office, but unfortunately, never quite getting enough votes.
How are the Le Pens connected with the people mentioned in this article? I’m probably overlooking the links.
Their presidential elections are soon, next year.
Macron will probably want to run again, and continue letting the illegals pile in for welfare based living.
The problem with Le Pen and her FN party and other right-wing parties in the EU is they never will get 50% of the vote to get a ruling majority in their parliaments and all the other parties pledge to never form a coalition with them.
It’s the same way in Germany, the AfD could easily get the most votes which will be nowhere close to 50% of the vote and will get frozen out of any coalition that forms.
Nothing but a bloody war will save Europe.
I’m afraid you’re right. Europe has been trying to commit suicide for centuries. The USA has pulled her back from the brink time after time. Maybe she’ll succeed this time. If not, next time.
Looks like the EU may have to call Hillary’s “Suicide Hotline”.
...and place an order.
I hope the EU calls the Canadian MAiD hotline.
