I was pulling for F-1 the Movie as it was one of just a couple of movies that we bothered watching in the theater.
Loved it—had a real Hollywood Actor—(Brad Pitt) looking tough, gritty and Pretty Boy...had revving engines and testosterone—had usual plot arc, but no one cared because it was a Hollywood movie. and finally, the good guys won...
Yeah there was a gratuitous love scene, but thats the price one pays for a Hollywood production. Heck, even LeMans had an implied love scene...
So, what it got best sound? Cool beans I suppose, but really?
Worst movie to get best picture was back in the stoneage, Shakespere in Love....I wonder how anyone could sit through that tripe without gouging out their eyes.

I thought “F1” was a huge disappointment. I wanted it to be a lot better, but it really kind of stunk.
