Says who? You and the Democrats? Anybody that sides with the leftist Democrats on ANY issue is dead wrong. Therefore, Trump is spot-on right to rebuke Massie. Massie is just another Maverick McCain traitor. Must be something really nasty in the water in KY, because it seems to be a recurring thing there.
He does not “side with Democrats.” They sometimes happen to come to the same vote from entirely different points.
It’s not about some personal loyalty, despite what we’re told. It’s about policies. It’s about principles. It’s about standing for the Constitution.
Do you have a problem with voting against big spending bills? With transparency? With opposing removing the 24-hour rule? I don’t. Massie has voted against all those things. I thought that was the conservative position.
Trump hates Massie because Trump (for all the good he’s doing) has an overdeveloped sense of “loyalty” (to him, personally) and because Massie is in many ways what we elected Trump to be.
Trump has a bad habits of endorsing RINOs and opposing genuine conservatives.
If Massie had the exact same voting record, but the President were Bush or Romeny or McCin or some other RINO, you would be praising and supporting him. But you oppose him because you were told to.
