Dubai’s iconic five-star Burj Al Arab hotel was struck by an Iranian drone on Saturday evening.
The US and Israel conducted military strikes on Iran on Saturday morning.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the military strikes.
Iran launched retaliatory strikes toward Israel and Dubai.
Dubai’s iconic Burj Al Arab was hit by an Iranian drone. Additional Iranian drones were intercepted near Dubai’s iconic skyscraper Burj Khalifa.

The Dubai Media Office said a drone was intercepted and shrapnel caused a ‘limited fire’ on the exterior of the hotel.
“The competent authorities in Dubai announced that a drone had been intercepted, and its shrapnel caused a limited fire on the exterior facade of the Burj Al Arab Hotel, and civil defense teams were able to control the incident without any injuries occurring,” they said. In a follow up post, the Dubai Media Office said the debris caused a fire at the bottom of the structure.
“Authorities confirm that a drone was intercepted, and debris caused a minor fire on the Burj Al Arab’s outer facade. Civil Defence teams responded immediately and brought the incident under control. No injuries have been reported,” they said.

I wonder why that is. NOT.

No this was not lashing out blindly. I don’t know why those building were hit but there was a reason. Iran is not as stupid as everyone thinks.
I’m having trouble understanding you. Is the dog the Arab states mad at the Iranians for hurting them out of spite for the US and Israeli attack?

I think it is probably execution of contingency plans made in case the Iranian leadership was successfully attacked. Local commanders may have opened their safes, read their assignment, and executed.
They’re not stupid. But they are desperate. Desperate people do stupid things. And these acts of desperation are creating new enemies where there were none before.
