The design makes the Bauhaus school of architecture look warm and inviting. Looks like it would not be out of place in mid 1950’s East Germany.
The good news is that after 20 years or so of Chicago winters, it will start to fall apart.
And after 30 or 40 years, it will be demolished.
Flak tower works, but North Korean guard tower might work better, as a descriptor.
