Democrat gubernatorial election-rigging in California is starting to backfire on them - Spiders caught in a web of their own making.

Apparently, it's panic time for Democrats in their one-party blue state of California.

The Los Angeles Times reports that they are facing armageddon in the upcoming governor's race, whose "jungle" primary is in June.

According to the Los Angeles Times:

SAN FRANCISCO — Leaders of the California Democratic Party, along with liberal activists and loyal power brokers, are openly expressing fear that their crowded field of candidates running for governor may splinter the vote and open the door to a surprise Republican victory in November.

SNIP

The bottom line here is that Democrats wouldn't have this problem at all if they hadn't changed the rules of electing governors to what is called a 'jungle primary.' Instead of one Republican and one Democrat candidate at the top of the ticket in November after the primary to be held in June, they changed the rule to 'top two vote-getters' imagining they would always secure the top two spots and with it, their permanent rule.

Now the rigging is backfiring on them, with the top two spots occupied by two Republicans, a scenario they never once imagined could happened. Steve Hilton, who's the best Republican candidate, and Chad Bianco, who'd be better as governor than any of the clown Democrats populating that list, are holding a persistent lead of around 15% apiece and Hilton's lead is growing in big chunks at a fast pace, meaning, November's ballot may mean two Republicans, not two Democrats, for voters to choose from.

Maybe they will succeed in winnowing their list, but the fragmentation of these Democrats suggests a discontented and unenthusiastic voter base.

That's their doing. They made the rules, now they have to live by them. Maybe they succeed in rigging things a new way, or maybe they don't. Pelosi sounded very certain that they would

Don’t worry. I’m sure their legislature will pass some sort of emergency changes to the election system before the actual election takes place to ensure a Democrat wins the governor’s race.

Let us hope so - except if one of the “Republican” candidates is Chad Bianco - who supports an amnesty for illegals.

“Chad Bianco has expressed support for a ‘path to citizenship’ for millions of illegal immigrants in the U.S: ‘The bottom line is that we absolutely must have a path to citizenship for people that are here.’”

It would be even funnier is, if evidence is produced confirming CA cheated in the 2020 Fed election, they can sit out the next couple of fed elections while they try to pass an election audit for the next couple of elections. GA, MI, WI are already on the list as well.

Note this is only a problem now because the wrong political ideology may win.

A clearer admission of cheating and manipulation could barely be more obvious

A Democrat is going to win, so I don’t see what they’re upset about.

Another RINO that, like the Democrats, love to reward bad behavior... yet still better than the leftist scum currently in office.

Nope. It would require a constitutional amendment and there’s not enough time before the election to set the special election that would be required. More likely, the knives are going to come out for the also-rans to drop out. I’m going to predict Hilton is frat Steiner is pouring a vast fortune into his campaign. I’m going to predict he’ll be second

I don’t care how blue the cities are in California NO ONE can get away with the crap democrats in that state have done, do and are proposing and be legitimately elected. Get in control of the vote/count and the demon party goes down over night.

Unfortunately, this analysis is not entirely correct. BOTH parties endorsed the "top two" primary system becoming law, when it was put up as a ballot initiative. I couldn't believe the Republican Party would possibly endorse its own defeat and ongoing one-party rule.

We need a Manchurian Greenie candidate. One with a bit of charisma who’s good looking. It appears that ‘peeling’ just a few votes might do it.

Fake! As long as Kalifornia has mail in ballots and can count them for two + weeks after voting day and they till use Dominion and other kinds of programmable vote counting machines, the Democrats are sure to rig it to win it. It’s a given.

Absolutely - and what Trump is trying to set right - getting the free loaders and criminals out of our country.

It’s beyond infuriating that there are idiots trying to prevent this.

It only looks this way now. In a couple of months all but 1 or 2 Dems will drop out after being promised $$ or jobs. Once that happens the Repubs stand no chance.
