Go team USA! Beat the Canucks!
Honestly, Canada is spending a lot of time in the USA end.....that really doesn’t bode well for the Americans.
They’ve got to get some offensive pressure in this game....
Yeah the Americans getting caved right now. Hellebuck is holding right now.
The Canadian roster has more skill and that is usually what wins. I’d like Sullivan to change the lines but that’s not his MO.
Yeah, and Canada doesn’t even have Crosby.
Win or lose the American goalie should be MVP.
Letting Marchand skate free like that- take the body!!!
The whole game is being played in front of the American net.
Power Play USA..
Double power play!!!
Unreal- give it back!!!!
Jack Hughs hss broken teeth
Canadians have a guy PLANTED in front of the American net!!!
too many Americans behind the goal line in the offensive zone...
We are going to OT. That’s fitting I suppose.
**Overtime follows **IIHF rules** specifically designed for the final:
- If the game is tied after regulation (three 20-minute periods), it goes to **sudden-death overtime**.
- Overtime is played **3-on-3** (three skaters per team plus goalies).
- Each overtime period lasts **20 minutes** of play time.
- There are **15-minute intermissions** between periods (with ice resurfacing).
- The game continues with additional 20-minute 3-on-3 periods as needed **until a goal is scored**—the first team to score wins immediately (no shootout allowed in the gold medal game).
- This “marathon” format ensures the Olympic champion is decided on the ice, not via shootout (unlike preliminary rounds or other knockout games, which cap OT and go to shootouts if needed).
Hellebuyck standing tall. OT. I hate 3on3.
Yeah, it is a different game.
WOW!! Hughes Wins it.
