Shame the Russians aren’t there, it puts a bit of a taint on the medal.
I was living in northwest Missouri when the Miracle On Ice happened. I told my wife. If our college boys beat Russia we will win the gold. Carter was president and interest rates sucked. They won that game and I got hammered. I was hung over during the gold medal game. Was too sick to get drilled again but DANG that was a great week. My wife already told me stay effing calm, Trump is President and Canada sucks but they ain’t the Russians. 😉
