I haven’t watched the Olympics since 1972. As a teenage lad, I remember I enjoyed the figure skating more than the gymnastics. The gymnasts all looked like little girls.
72 was the first Olympics I watched. My all-time favorite Olympian, was the Japanese gymnast who landed his mount on a broken leg and ensured the Japanese won the medal. That’s what the Olympics should be all about.
