I’ve heard some teams are facing financial problems. We never see financial statements from teams so who knows.

But I’m sure paying some players in the tens of millions of dollars every single year, has got hurt the bottom line of those teams. They can only raise ticket prices so much. They can only extract so much money out of broadcasting rights.

I know some of some people who are big baseball fans, but they have not gotten into all this streaming., and paying for different services just to watch the games. They just catch the highlights on youtube.

I have to believe they are losing viewers, just the hard core old timers now and the betters.
