Low — who was a police commander at the time of Cobain’s death, and had been asked by his chief to probe the case in 2005 — added that he believes investigators failed to treat the initial scene as a potential homicide, calling the original SPD investigation “botched.”

Low claims the case was mishandled from the start, and questions whether proper forensic procedures were followed. The veteran police captain also suggested the scene could have even been staged to make it look like the Nirvana singer had taken his own life. ...
Maybe Oliver Stone can make another movie. Cast Joe Pesci as Cobain.
Its 30 years later guys. I don’t know what evidence you think there is to discover now. Cobain offed himself with a shotgun so I’d imagine it made quite a mess.
In such circumstances I am always forced to ask, “why now.”
Why is this being opening at this time?
I’ve never understood why Cobain is supposed to be such an important figure.
And in other news from Seattle, the Mayor has declared homeless people now get to own and occupy whatever they want.
Someone’s pension ain’t enough, I guess.
I doubt very seriously there is any legally admissible evidence of homicide in Kurt Cobain’s death. But whether the Seattle police recorded the death as a suicide at the scene or a few days later it does seem the outcome was decided before conducting a full investigation.
Guess they have nothing else to worry about in Seattle.
Drug deal gone bad? Lotta folks think she did it, but coulda been an angey dealer too. Or disgruntled person.
We all knew at the time that Courtney did it. We were just amazed she got away with it.
