Rubio said something at the Munich conference about the "cowboy archetype" coming from Spain. AOC snidely said that Mexicans and Africans would have something to say about that.

As if the Mexicans didn't get the "cowboy archetype" from Spain in the first place, along with most of the rest of their culture.

And Africans? When I think of Africa, the first thing I think of is "cowboys" ... ok, not.

The Hawaiian cowboys also were from Spain. The word for cowboy in Hawaii is “paniolo”, derived from “Spain” in pidgin.
