I remember when this began in 1968 with the murder of Bobby Kennedy by a Palestinian immigrant, and the following hysteria about “violence”.
Blame was put on... guns, tv shows, movies, comic books, pulp book covers, and MASCULINITY IN BOYS.
So, guns were regulated, TV shows dumbed down to kiddie shows, comic books calmed down for a while, pulp fiction changed the covers, movies dropped the Hays Code for a “ratings system and released the most vile movies ever made,
But boys in schools were to be given drugs to make them less masculine AND MORE FEMININE.
Glad I graduated in 1964 before this nonsense began.
