The tech that services my boiler was telling me that large companies are using AI to diagnose their heating/AC systems. They find tue problem and dispatch a human for repairs. The tech said they’ve plugged in issues with boilers and heating systems and AI will spit out a list of 3-4 possible issues and it’s always been 1 of them that fixed the problem. Also putting in calculations for air and water flow has been spot on every time.
He said they’ve got the brains, all they need is the hands and blue collar jobs are in danger. Hopefully that won’t be for a couple decades yet, but it’s coming.

Very impressive, and likely alarming for some, but I thought the discipline of the kids was also what really set them apart.
