...if this guy was threatening to go postal, did anyone try to have him sectioned? We have involuntary civil commitment laws in this country for a reason.

Those laws depend on individuals, often victims, accepting a reality that they can't accept and then taking personal risks to flag their tormentor.

I firmly believe that much of the push about "gender identity" to adolescents is to get them to "come out of the closet" before they get married and/or have children. When repressed symptoms of mental illness snap, they tend to have extreme consequences.
