The stories in some other collections can really drag.
Whoever compiled this list, made some really fine selections.

I like to read story collections when I am on vacation, they are perfect on the beach. What I have noticed, though, is the tendency of recent collections to include woke selections, and stories that portray conservative people as bullies, always edited by a DEI editor. It’s not fun when after a couple of paragraphs you know the story is going to follow the predictable leftie narrative.
These are audio books....right?
librivox has lots of classic books and historical narratives. Most are well narrated but not all.
Science fiction went that route about a decade ago. FemNazi garbage twisted every story. Glad I have digital copies of my old 5K collection — it will last me for rest of life.
