I used to work in the electrical shop at a small paper mill. My lead man always said that the Dutch were the worst nationality. I asked him how he knew that, his reply “My mother in law is Dutch!” The guy absolutely hated that woman, and lived right next door to her, LOL.

My father-in-law was Dutch. AND he worked in a saw mill!
He was very mild. However his father was strong-willed and his wife (my father-in-law's mother had died, and his father remarried) was similar. One of my wife's Dutch relatives had remarked negatively on the roads created by blasting mountains in the U.S. and Canada, because they didn't smooth the sides! Things you might do in a small country that are unimaginable over a large continent. So my wife is half-Dutch, and Eva Vlaardingerbroek is all Dutch, so they aren't all bad.
