That is one fine Fraulein.
to me, his face screams “fahrenheit 451”.
Ja, sehr hĂĽbsch!
Left out Derek Jacobi as Hitler in “Inside the 3rd Reich”.
Another good one was the one who played Freisler in Sophie Scholl: The Final Days, he really nailed him.
Nope. Ralph Fiennes in Schindler’s List.
Leon Askin, a very fine actor.
“Today is history.....”
Ha ha!
Love “The Wild Geese”. Long-time favorite of mine.
I read somewhere that the actor who played LeBeau in Hogan’s Heroes was actually a Holocaust survivor.
One of my favorite films about the World War II era. An absolute masterpiece.
Watching the Jewish prisoners gruesomely dispatch their Nazi captors one by one throughout the camp is a thing of exquisite beauty.
My personal favorite:

- Czechoslovakia und Poland, kaputt! Und fräulein mit the glockenspiel, verboten! Und the apple strudel mit the liederkranz, gesundheit! Everything is gesundheit, kaputt und verboten!
- Gentlemen, attention!
- Heil Hitler!
- Heil... Droppen sie dead!
- Quiet! We're indoctrinating! Ist you all indoctrinated?
- Jawohl!
- Ist you all good little Nazis?
- Jawohl!
- Ist you all good little Adolfs?
- Jawohl!
- Then we will all salute Feldwebel Schulz. About face! Sieg heil! Sieg heil! Sieg heil!
- One fuehrer is enough. Now please, gentlemen, take off those mustaches. Or do you want me arrested by the Gestapo?
- Jawohl!
Stalag 17 (1953)
I liked Oskar Werner too. He died quite young.
Billy Wilder did a better job sending up the Nazis than Mel Brooks did!
I pretty much liked everything Rutger Hauer did.
