There was a story yesterday that the ratings are really bothering the owners and they are deciding on a possible end to CNN rather than the rearrangement of “stars” as they tried several times. People are “tuning out.”

The end of CNN can’t come soon enough.

Throughout 2025, CNN often ranked behind Fox News and MS NOW (formerly MSNBC), sometimes ranking as low as seventh in total viewers among all basic cable networks.

October 2025 saw further declines, with primetime viewership falling 39% to 504,000, which was CNN’s second lowest-rated October on record.
