I saw this yesterday. Dumbass supreme. He answered “constitution of the United States”. DEI at work. I’m surprised he didn’t say “Olive branch” 😂
I saw it yesterday also, his utter arrogance and surety in his ignorance as he answered created a new high mark on the Dunning–Kruger graph.
“DEI at work.”
Not exactly this time. The feds were wrong in that he doesn’t work for the federal government, he is a county sheriff working for the county for state government level. Totally different force.
And he may have been sworn in with the Constitution in his oath. But he is not an employee, hired or elected, with the federal government and normally doesn’t have anything to do with them other than be aware they are there and may on occasions deal with an office of the FBI in his county. So does it make any difference who the three pieces of the federal government are to him?
In the article it stated that he had been a cop for 30 years before his becoming sheriff, and had a very high conviction rate for the over 800 homicides he had worked during that time. So he became sheriff the old fashioned way, he earned it.
