Yep. The Fourth Estate is full of losers. And they shape public opinion on a daily basis. It’s one of our biggest problems as a society.
My widowed aunt ran into Jimmy Breslin, back around 1978, when New York City first allowed gay men to become firefighters. He asked her what she thought, and she told him it was none of her business who firemen slept with. He reported her, by name, as saying that she was terrified by the prospect of gay firefights.
Breslin, like Mike Barnicle of the Boston Globe and his buddy Brian Williams was a fabulist. A liar.
