Paul Moro said he thinks the person who wrote the note was likely just some Russian identity thief looking for a payday, and when they realized they wouldn’t get it went back to selling identities for $100 a pop. Hence the activity in the Bitcoin wallet.

I can see the logic there, but if they say that a bitcoin wallet can be opened in a matter of minutes, then why use one that is now so notorious when another one can be opened in this one can lay fallow for the rest of its existence?
