If you look closely at this picture, the plant (now wilted) is on the ground just in front of the door and behind the blood splatters. What was the purpose of the plant? Stranger and stranger!

Well, he couldn’t see the camera attachments well enough to work on them with his hand in front of his eyes, so he picked up a part of a plant growing outside the entrance to peek through tiny areas while obscuring its view of him.

Semi strong security door. Not destroyed or tampered with to get in? The window to the side of the entrance door doesn’t look very sturdy....something tells me inside job. I have been very wrong before, so I am not counting on my suppositions.

When Brian Entin went to Nancy Guthries front door, his video showed those plants on the ground. Guessing the suspect was hoping they would cover the camera?

What was the purpose of the plant?

Since seeing the Boston Strangler movie version with Tony Curtis (have others including nonfiction documentary), he always put women at ease. What if he is saying "Your other plants are ll going to look like this, m'am. I'm going to have to go over the whole place. Just sign this release form for my boss, please.

The Boston killer pretended to need to fix plumbing pipes or do other work and offered to leave as the women were on guard. Then they decided to let him in.
