This whole investigation is has been a total disaster from day one……….The key element in the case is who allegedly drove her home that night and what is the real story.

The sheriff initially said that it was the son-in-law who drove mom home on Saturday night.

A subsequent press conference had him saying that it was simply “a family member” and he was going to leave it at that.

Something sure stinks.

I still don't know why he did that. I suppose to deflect undue pressure on the son-in-law too soon. Unfortunately, it had the opposite effect, since a change in a story often smells.
