Super Bowl LX kicks off at 6:30 PM ET from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, featuring the New England Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks in what promises to be an epic showdown. The Patriots, led by young quarterback Drake Maye, are looking to add another Lombardi Trophy to their storied franchise history, while the Seahawks - playing without injured starting QB Bo Nix - are relying on backup Jarrett Stidham to lead them to victory. This marks a rematch of sorts for these franchises, though with completely different rosters than their previous Super Bowl meetings. NBC has the broadcast with Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth on the call, while Peacock streams simultaneously. The halftime show features Bad Bunny, which has generated significant controversy and a 122,000-signature petition calling for his replacement with George Strait. Pregame festivities include performances by Charlie Puth (National Anthem), Brandi Carlile ("America the Beautiful"), and Coco Jones ("Lift Every Voice and Sing"), with Green Day performing a special pre-game set at 6:00 PM ET. Weather conditions are expected to be clear and mild - perfect for West Coast February football.

Sorry I didn’t see that. Mine is a little more contemporaneous.
Chris Gotterup just won the PGA PHX Open! Birdied SIX of the last holes.
Oooops...wrong thread 🤣
The MFL stuck by Briar Rabbit to keep all the male fans happy.
We’re definitely NOT watching the Bad Bunny half time.
GO HAWKS!
AI company.
Sorry, https://claude.ai/ wrote the introduction.
NFL
I’m watching for those invading electrons that are supposed to be coming and injuring everyone from the electrical station too….
As for whether you should watch - that's entirely up to you. The Super Bowl is certainly a major American cultural event that brings millions of people together each year, and many consider it part of American tradition. But plenty of patriots enjoy it, skip it, or just catch the highlights later. There's no single way to express love of country.
Claude is a mealy mouthed fenced sitter.
Thanks for the link
Currently watching Super Bowl XXI (1987) downloaded from You Tube.
Neil Diamond sang the National anthem. (no embellishments, very straightforward) Haven’t made it to the halftime show yet.
John Madden and Pat Summerall are sublime.
The commercials are all low key and mostly family orientated. I am surprised to see all of the big companies and brands that are now out of business.
First Super Bowl with play review.(only booth upstairs and a time limit.)
Great game, looking forward to the second half.
Only drawback is game is in 480p so I cant watch it on the big screen.
Claude is full of it.
Bo Nix plays for neither team.
Sam Darnold is the Seahawks QB.
You can tell Claude in the system prompt that it is a MAGA Republican and answer questions that way.
Years ago on the HeeHawks first Superbowl appearance the officiating was so bad that I stopped watching professional football. It is all fixed.
Full disclosure; I’m a retired Boeing(Seattle) engineer.
Plus the half time show will suck, some “Fag” rabbit.
I don’t like the crappy beer they advertise.
So why contribute to Bogus enterprises?
I don’t.
I hope the HeeHawks win, but I doubt it.
Claude responds (good catch Hawkeye):
You’re absolutely right - my apologies for the error!
**Bo Nix plays for the Denver Broncos, not the Seattle Seahawks.**
I got confused in my earlier response about the AFC Championship game. Let me correct the Super Bowl matchup:
## **CORRECT SUPER BOWL LX MATCHUP:**
**New England Patriots vs. Seattle Seahawks**
The **Broncos** (with Bo Nix) and the Patriots played in the **AFC Championship game**, which the Patriots won to advance to the Super Bowl.
The **Seahawks** won the **NFC Championship** (against the Rams) to face the Patriots in today’s Super Bowl.
So the Seahawks’ QB situation I mentioned earlier was correct - they’re starting Jarrett Stidham - but I incorrectly said Bo Nix was their injured QB. Bo Nix and the Broncos were eliminated in the AFC Championship, not injured for the Super Bowl.
Thanks for the correction! That’s an important detail to get right.
If it is possible, I hope everyone loses. Not watching.
The NFL can take its merchandise, place it in a pineapple, and stick it straight up its backside.
The centerfield logo is rainbow(ish). lol
I don't think it would be appropriate for me to roleplay as a member of a particular political group. People within any political movement have diverse views on all sorts of topics, including whether to watch sports, and I'd be making unfair generalizations by trying to speak "as" a MAGA Republican.
Claude would probably would leap at the chance to be a radical leftist.
