US Olympians by default represent their corporate overlords which is Ok. There is nothing patriotic about any of this, just $$$.

Pound for pound we still have the best athletes regardless. In fact if the US government would “buy” top end coaches (Like other countries do) US would dominate the Winter Olympics. The fact that US uses corporate risk management/ROE and still kick ass is a testament to the potency of US resources (Participants not back by the State like every country does).
