They’re getting gold medals in ungratefulness.
Woke Team USA members expressed “mixed emotions” about representing the Stars and Stripes at the Winter Olympics, sparking calls by some Americans to boycott the Games.
Freestyle skier Hunter Hess ignited the firestorm Friday after telling reporters that wearing the American flag doesn’t mean he backs everything “going on” in the US.
“It brings up mixed emotions to represent the U.S. right now,” Hess said at a press conference ahead of competition.
“It’s a little hard, there’s obviously a lot going on that I’m not the biggest fan of and I think a lot of people aren’t,” he added. “Just because I’m wearing the flag doesn’t mean I represent everything that’s going on in the US.”
Fellow Team USA freestyle skier Chris Lillis also chimed in, griping about immigration enforcement and protests in the Land of the Free.
“I’m heartbroken about what’s happening in the United States,” Lillis said. “I think that as a country we need to focus on respecting everybody’s rights and making sure that we are treating our citizens as well as anybody with love and respect.”
“I hope that when people look at athletes compete in the Olympics they realize that that’s the America that we’re trying to represent,” he added.
Team USA figure skater Amber Glenn also weighed in earlier in the week, expressing concern about the Trump administration.“Politics affects us all,” Glenn told reporters. “It is something I will not just be quiet about.”

In case anyone misunderstands my post, I WANT to watch the Premier League matches.
I’m used to watching the matches on USA, NBC Sports Network, NBC and Peacock. Thanks to the woke Olympics, the Premier League is only being broadcast on one network: Peacock.
I can’t wait for the big game tomorrow: Liverpool Vs. Oil Club (Man City).

pssst... it’s not really gold, just some die cast metal emblem painted over in the colors of gold, or silver. The bronze pieces might actually be bronze.

NEW RULE:
If you are a member of the US Olympic Team and you publicly criticize the USA while on foreign soil, you are off the team.
You have 15 minutes to gather your things in the Olympic Village. Someone will drive you to the airport and push you out on the curb. Figure out your own way to fly home.
Being a USA Olympian is a privilege, not a right. Too bad you couldn’t figure that out.

Trump would have to pressure the USOC because we don’t have a Sports Ministry unlike most countries.

They didn’t have to march under the USA flag, there actually was one group that marched as ”non-aligned” with any country. They should joined that group—and paid their own travel, expenses, uniforms, etc.

When Dom scored that amazing goal, I was elated but, at the same time, there was still plenty of time to bottle it. And, we bottled it in spectacular fashion.
After City’s first goal, I was fuming. After the second, I started laughing because our squad resembled the Keystone Cops. The final extra minutes were a real cluster.
