Beginning looks good. I’ll watch it.
Saw Springsteen before he was famous, including Clarence Clemmons and a woman who played violin. I was surprised when everyone rose to give him a standing ovation....after the 1st song!
He put on a great show. Martin Mull was the opening act.
Sadly he drank the commie kool-aid.
The ‘boss’ in my book is Robert Zimmerman (Dylan).
I saw that tour, and several times before that when he was still playing in high school gyms and tiny clubs at the shore. His two early albums were artistic and introspective, at times jazz fusion, with David Sancious on piano (awesome). But then heavy metal came along, and his response—the Born to Run, Born in the USA sound with massive, deafening speakers and subversive lyrics— he sold out, and not just tickets.
He really let our side down.
