I think plenty of people project their world view onto reality, and believe the facts they want to, and ignore those that they don’t, calling the factual discrepancy the result of a “conspiracy,” so long as they reach the pre-drawn conclusion that suits them. Exactly. None, and there is a huge gray area, of those who spurn facts, especially of the MSM, wherever they contradict their respective fantasies, as I made clear. Plenty of conspiracy theories have been vindicated in the end, as you point out. And plenty more are just plain crazy, but their adherents believe in them absolutely, and believe that they have the real evidence, and only they have figured it out.
