Kenneth Moreno Guzman, an illegal alien from Mexico, raped an 11 year old girl at knifepoint in Georgia while her little sister watched. Jimmy Kimmel didn’t cry for her. Obama didn’t put out a statement. Media mostly ignored her rape. Democrats didn’t demand changes to stop future rapes and ZERO celebrities wore a pin for her at awards show. They only pretend to care if it suits their political goals and their bank accounts.
Illegals are their pets so they protect them at all costs. One day before this rape, if ICE had tried to deport him, Democrats would have impeded the arrest and helped him to escape. Heck, they impeded multiple arrests of child rapists in Minnesota just this month. Think about that.
Our priorities are so messed up it’s not even funny. We need a drastic, deep rethink about this. For every Democrat performatively ranting about how awful ICE is, do you realize how many killers, rapists and criminals they’ve saved Americans from? Do you realize a girl is more likely to be a victim of violent crime via an illegal than they are to be shot by ICE? It’s not even close. Use some common sense. There’s only one kind of 100% preventable violent crime: The violent crime committed by illegals. If we simply shut down our border and deport those who came illegally, crime will continue to fall and you will actually save lives. Use your brain. Please. Stop falling into social contagions created by propaganda in your feeds.
Think about this girl and her sister. Think about preventing this kind of violence daily. We can do that, but we have to let ICE do their job if we want to save girls like this.

The national media argument when you confront them with stories like this is that its a local crime story and those aren’t covered by the national media. If that is the rule, I don’t see how Renee Good and Alex Pretti aren’t local crime stories too.

Of course. Anything uncomplimentary to the Left is a “local” story. Meanwhile if an obscure Republican candidate says something out of line, it is reported as a national story and portrayed as being reflective of all Republican candidates nationwide.

I get what you’re saying, but after a point turnabout not only becomes fair play, it is a prerequisite to equal footing.
Adhering to the truth and making sure what you are saying is true is “playing tiddlywinks”?

the metaphor (horseshoes hand grenades and tiddlywinks being that close enough is passable) was to the point because the comparative analysis of what has been going on in this regard (we play nice and they don’t), but I used the two most opposed of the three and intended the invective for the hand grenade portion. It wasn’t meant to be an analogue in the strictest sense, which should’ve been apparent based on the rest of the context.
You make the analog of telling the truth to tiddlywinks to call me out on this. I did not directly draw that parallel! I drew a parallel to how each side is playing the game.
More easily put, yes, we are playing by the “rules” if we follow the narrow path of telling the truth (civil discourse/society). Our political/societal adversaries are not playing by the same set of rules - they are throwing hand grenades while we play tiddlywinks. Civil society vs. uncivil or unhinged society, logic vs. fallacy, etc.
