BREAKING: Reform UK has reported the Labour Party to Greater Manchester Police, alleging a breach of the Representation of the People Act 1983
@grok
Reform UK alleges Labour breached Section 106 of the Representation of the People Act 1983, which prohibits false statements about a candidate's personal character to influence an election.
In the Gorton and Denton by-election (Greater Manchester), Labour posted an edited video of Reform candidate Matt Goodwin saying he was "unfortunate enough to be in Manchester" with low energy, captioned to imply he dislikes the area. Full context: He was comparing a Reform event to the "dying" Conservative conference in Manchester, not criticizing the city.
Labour amplified it but hasn't directly addressed the claim; they call Goodwin's views extreme. Police are reviewing.

The left might split the vote though which leaves an opening.
It’s tight.
And, in the end, will Manchester become an Islamic run city anyway?
Already happening in USA. We live in a two-tier justice system.
Leaders in Minneapolis are all free.
And Don Lemon. Even though it is all on camera. It doesn't matter.
Not a crime.
We will find out soon but let’s see if they split the vote up
