I thought he was all over the tabloids for being a hard-drinking womanizer/cheater (complete opposite of the image of the characters he portrayed) before he got cancer and unfortunately passed away at a fairly young age.
It’s possible. Then again, tabloids only look at the broken side and print many exaggerations. I had a relative with a similar life of alcohol abuse and reckless mistakes, trying to assuage the demons of his early childhood while taking care of his father’s neglected family and his own. I had pity for him, and also for Landon.
