where do you land it.
I was in Tokyo for a few days in late March last year. We went to the lounge of our hotel at the ~45th floor level. Amazing number of red aircraft lights on tops of buildings, and could see a couple of helipads. Looked at Google Maps, and you can see *lots* of helipads scattered around.
I imagine NYC is similar. But not as nice.
One would think it would need to be able to land in many places where a traditional helicopter would not be able to land. Right?
But that is the trick. NYC will have to play ball and allow the business plan.
Just about anywhere.

As a commuter vehicle, it does not land to discharge passengers but rather ejects them in pod seat contraptions. This will be worked out later and experts assures anyone interested purchasing the vehicle, that it should be safe since the concept is sixty years old.
