I’m not going bother to read the article but I’ll say this....ice skaters being gay may be THE worst kept secret in the history of sports....especially the men.
Back in the 80s a buddy of mine played hockey and also was a figure skater.....although it was roller and not ice, it looks like it doesn’t matter.
I traveled with him to a figure skating event in Louisville Kentucky in ‘82. That weekend I was exposed to more homosexuals than I ever had been in my short 22 years of life.
Whether ice or roller, skating is a subculture.....and it’s certainly has it’s share of homosexuals......always has.

I can still remember back in the late 80s/early 90s when the gay community said “we just want to be left alone to live our lives in peace”.
I knew then that was just to cack open the door to the real agenda which was to be a protected class....and lo and behold, here we’re are.
