@RepThomasMassie

After rampant fraud was uncovered at daycare centers in Minnesota and elsewhere, a judge blocked President Trump’s effort to put guardrails on those programs.

I’ve offered this amendment to circumvent the judge’s ruling and empower the President to withhold fraudulent funds.

It is a good way around it. Problem is the Dems in the Senate will filibuster it and kill it. Right now, the Senate is the place where good bills go to die.

I don’t think anything will pass or be effective while lawless judges are in the system.

What they all should be doing is holding up ALL funding until a thorough review is done of where our money is going & whether it is necessary. Every department should be budgeted one at a time & serious consequences included for fraud. Consequences for those doling out the money, if they are not exercising due diligence on behalf of taxpayers.

Our whole system is broken & they try to put little patches on.

“It must be primary season!”

So true. Massie pretending to be on Trump’s team again. Such a corrupt phony. What a joke he is.

“I’ve offered this amendment to circumvent the judge’s ruling and empower the President to withhold fraudulent funds.”

He is getting to sound like Bill Cassidey. Cassidy voted to impeach Trump, said he was guilty, and during the Republican primaries went on national TV and said Trump should withdraw. Now that he is running for the Senate again, he is running on Trump’s coattails. With Cassidy, it is just “me and Trump.”

If he were to win, which he won’t, he would turn on Trump the first day after the election.

I applaud Massie for the common sense of his amendment.

They’ll consider this bill is about 24 months or so. They can’t do it NOW of course, they have better things (LIKE NOTHING!) to do.

If this were the Dems, they’d vote on this TODAY and ram it though. Meanwhile the side that we favor will turn into the debate club, and talk about it until they lose power.

Will this pass, Freepers?

Can ANYTHING pass the Senate Marxists so long as Thune is unwilling to budge on the filibuster?
