Could be. Maybe he feels he’s got nothing left to lose.
If you carve up the public sentiment...there’s three problems. You have the crazies/Somalians on a mob-like frenzy. Then you have the urbanites of Minneapolis who are in a state of fear that things are out of control. Then you have the remainder of the state...pointing out that the Governor/mayor-of-Minneapolis have no ability to ensure public safety.
I would suggest the FBI agents coming in...have no connection to the public safety issue, and mostly there to complete (in rapid fashion) gathering of evidence on fraud/money issues.
As for public safety...I expect by Monday night some type of curfew to go into effect.
What if the anarchists decided to show up in the shopping district? They set cars on fire...They break into stores and steal merchandise...Then Minnesota National Guard will assist Minneapolis PD...I do not think that Mayor Frey will do nothing while anarchists destroy the shopping district in his city...
I have not heard of "protestors" breaking into stores in Minneapolis yet...
So is Tampon Tim declaring war on the Feds by putting his National Guard units against them?

Several months ago, anti-ICE protests turned violent in Los Angeles...Remember the "protestors" destroying CA Highway Patrol vehicles on the freeway?

True dat. That is what Bondi’s job is. To make sure that nothing happens. “Nothing happening” referring to arrests, trials, and convictions.

What pisses me off is that the (too many) Bondi apologists here constantly put out the narrative that Bondi is working at snail speed to set up airtight legal cases. Which is a laughable lie since even her easy-peasy conviction against Comey (done at the last minutes to avoid the limitation statute and not even initiated by her) had been overturned because of a stupid technicality error.
Even a peasant like me pointed out months ago her leaziness, incompetence (remember her fake outrage against “hate speech”?) and outright treasonous agenda against MAGA but some are still convinced she is of any good. What a travesty.

That would save bringing troops from AK...I am not comfortable using regular army against citizens...The reason to do so would have to reach a more egregious level to justify such a move.
The democrats are on the brink of losing a lot of their ability to steal elections nationwide when/if this is all publicly exposed. Thanks to the mainstream media, I would bet a lot of the country still doesn’t understand the breadth and depth of the fraud and corruption. This puts them in a desperate situation. Things might get ugly, but it needs to happen.
Walz would have them blocking ICE from doing their job and not arresting any protestors. Just like in the Civil War southern governors mobilized their state militias to oppose federal troops.
Do they get to have bullets?
He is making a case there is no need for federal help and no insurrection.
Can’t Trump also order them to oppose the insurrection?
