If we are honest her and Manchin saved the country to an extent. The rats were going to kill the filibuster. The first thing was packing SC with 8 Jacksons. They had them picked out. Then DC and PR Statehood, Then the ERA and God knows what else. Trump would not be President because he would be in jail.

There are no Dems who would stop eliminating the filibuster if the Democrats take the Senate in 2026. I wish that Republicans would end the filibuster now, but they don’t vote for Trump’s policies a lot of the time anyway.

The question I ask is HOW do SO MANY of America’s utter moral reprobates get elected to what is supposed to be the august body of America’s best and brightest legislators? I suspect that the answer involves the importance of sufficient money and name recognition to win statewide, and has nothing to do with the quality of the individual.
