Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey slammed ICE officials for 'creating chaos' in his city after an agent who was 'ambushed' during an arrest shot a suspect in the leg.
The Department of Homeland Security said the suspect was an illegal migrant from Venezuela who ran away on foot Wednesday night before joining two others to attack the agent with a 'broomstick or shovel.'
The suspect was shot in the leg and remains in a stable condition in hospital. Two accomplices were also in police custody, and the agent involved was also taken to hospital after he was violently set upon by the trio.
Law enforcement officers wearing masks were using tear gas and flash bangs on protesters at the scene, just 4.5 miles north of where Good was shot, in an effort to control the crowds.
Frey urged protesters who had arrived at the scene to 'go home', warning they were making matters worse and 'taking the bait.'
'For anyone who is taking the bait tonight: stop,' he said at a late-night press conference to address the second ICE shooting to rock his city in a week.
'It is not helpful. Go home. We cannot counter Donald Trump's chaos with our own chaos.
'You are not helping the undocumented immigrants in our city, you are not helping the people who call this place home.'
Protesters had been throwing snowballs and fireworks in the direction of officers as they chanted 'our streets' in the wake of the shooting, Minneapolis police chief Brian O'Hara revealed.
'The crowd is engaging in illegal acts,' he said. 'We ask anyone at the scene to leave immediately. This is already a tense scenario and we do not need it to escalate any further.

Lower the illegals’ comfort factor.
The mayor is ab idiot. He refuses to arrest the people causing chaos. They will not go away if told to do so. He also seemed to blame ICE because they made a guy come at them with a shovel. He did it on his own.
He’s trying to have it both ways knowing people getting killed is a reflection on him.
Crisis management-their ineptitude does not come out until a crisis arrives. Think Afghanistan withdrawal. Katrina-the governors reaction to the hurricane was a nervous breakdown. November voters don’t take that into account.
If the liberal white Karens simply let ICE do their job (rounding up illegals of whom many are human and drug traffickers, welfare rip off artists, and other such lowlifes), there would be very little or no chaos whatsoever.

The loss of the paperwork and information is going to be a big problem, Some of the information that was said by protesters in the stuff left behind included
operation plans, targeted individuals, and locations - meaning specific people ice was going to target
agents and their contact/home info
hotels, room numbers and agendas
travel plans, contacts
booking proceedures, locations of facilities
radio frequencies, likely encryption codes for the frequencies
There was no reason for all this information to be in the vehicles, and all these people will have to be moved, security provided for people who’s homes have been doxxed, etc.
Mayor Small Frey has blood on his hands.
Cops are staying home too. Frey’s little protesters might destroy the city again.

It would not just “reduce chaos,” it would restore order and reduce crime like we haven’t seen for decades. Stopping the looting of the local, state and federal treasuries would restore fiscal sanity and balance public budgets.
